Blue-Black Arowana price Also known as fish or Osteoglossum ferreirai. The Black Arowana, which can be found in South America’s Blackwater Negro and Orinoco Rivers, is a species that is in high demand because of its brilliant iridescent coloring and black fins with orange trim.

Like all arowana, these are huge, surface-dwelling predators that need a lot of tank room and a cover that fits them tightly because they may jump high. In general, black arowana are friendly to any tankmates that are too big for them to eat. Although slightly smaller than the Silver Arowana, who is a close relative, they nevertheless reach amazing adult sizes and need a sizable tank.

Aquarium Size 

These friendly fish get along well with other big fish, but they require very large tanks with plenty of space for free swimming. The minimum tank size should be 183 x 61 x 61 cm (6′ x 2′ x 2′), while longer and wider is preferable.

Aside from their size, they are simple to maintain and may be trained to accept food from your hand. To address the high ammonia wastes, use an enormous filtration system.
