YOU AGREE TO ALL THE TERMS AND POLICIES LISTED ON THIS WEBPAGE WHEN YOU PAY A DEPOSIT OR WAITING LIST FEE ON ANY OF OUR ANIMALS.
Our animals’ safety and happiness are of the utmost concern. As a result, Dragonstone Ranch reserves the right to decline any transaction to anyone without having to explain why. We appreciate your cooperation.
REHOMIGN POLICY
All animal care expenditures, including but not limited to housing, feeding, and veterinary care, are the responsibility of the buyer. If you decide the animal is not a good fit for your home at any point, you must return it to Ranchofexoticpets at your own money and time. Unless we accept the new owner in writing, the buyer may not sell, gift, or rehome the animal to anyone else. This policy is in place to ensure that our exotic animals always have a suitable home and receive proper care. If you do not comply, you may face legal consequences. This rehoming policy does not apply to Hoofstock.
HEALTH GUARANTEE
At the time of pickup, all newborns are assured to be healthy and free of parasites, illness, and disease. If you suspect your new baby has parasites, illness, or disease, you must take him or her to a registered exotics vet within 48 hours of receiving him or her. You may return the animal for a replacement only if the vet deems that it was sold in poor condition. In order for claims to be evaluated, a veterinarian report produced by a registered exotics veterinarian declaring that the animal was sold in poor condition must be provided to Ranchofexoticpets.
This guarantee is only applicable if the animals are returned within 3 days of the pickup date. This health guarantee does not cover any injuries or medical conditions that occur after the buyer picks up the animal. This warranty does not apply to animals delivered by a third-party carrier because we have no control over what happens to the animals during transport. Ranchofexoticpets provides no assurances about the animal’s condition when it arrives once it has left our care.
ALL WARRANTIES ARE VOID IF THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE CARE GUIDE ARE NOT FOLLOWED, OR IF YOU EAT A DIET OTHER THAN THE ONE WE RECOMMEND ON OUR WEBSITE! The only exception is if we provide you specific instructions.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS
None of the deposits are refundable or transferable. To book the infant of your choice, you will need to pay a nonrefundable deposit. The remaining payment is required on the scheduled pickup date for local pickups. Exact-change cash, Zelle, or PayPal Friends & Family are all acceptable methods of payment. We do not accept PayPal payments for goods and services. For sales under $1000, we also take chip-enabled major credit cards (5 percent processing fee applies).
The outstanding balance on animal purchases that will be transported must be paid 7 days prior to the first planned day of the transport. Hedgehogs and sugar gliders, on the other hand, must be paid in full by their indicated ready date, or 24 hours prior to a planned neuter, whichever comes first (sugar gliders only). For amounts under $1000, payments for transported animals can be paid using our PayPal invoicing.
Only cash in the form of a wire transfer, Zelle, or PayPal Friends & Family is accepted for transported animals with a balance exceeding $1000. By the payment due date, all payments must be settled, not pending. The buyer’s name on the invoice must match the mode of payment used to pay for the animal. Unless an appropriate form is completed and signed by the buyer to enable a different individual to receive the animal, only the person specified on the invoice will be able to receive the animal. To be a buyer or authorized receiver, you must be at least 18 years old.
PET TRANSPORT
A USDA-licensed pet transporter will deliver the animals by door-to-door ground transport on the next available route. Routes are available all throughout the country. Please keep in mind that we won’t be able to provide a delivery date until our transporter does. While we will make every effort to deliver your baby as quickly as possible, not all routes pass through every state. Factors such as traffic, construction, and weather conditions can affect actual delivery dates/times, so delivery estimates are not guaranteed.
The delivery might take place at any time of day or night. Buyers will be notified of any modifications to the delivery estimate, and drivers will contact the buyer directly via the phone number provided on our application when they arrive. Within 15 minutes of arrival, the buyer or authorized receiver must meet with the drivers, display government-issued picture ID, and sign any supporting paperwork (USDA Transfer Form and Dragonstone Ranch contract). If you do not comply with these terms, the transporter will leave with the animals.
The buyer then has the option of having the animals redelivered at their expense or canceling the sale. All deposits, shipping payments, and vet expenses will be forfeited if the sale is canceled, and another shipping price will be levied to convey the animals back to the seller. If the sale is canceled, any leftover amount after a 50% restocking charge of the original purchase price will be reimbursed to the buyer. Remember that “ready by” dates are simply estimates and cannot be guaranteed because the animal must reach a healthy weight and flourishing independently of its parents before being adopted.
